Featured Work
My work grows from a sustained devotion to the art of mosaic. Using traditional tools and materials, smalti, glass, stone, gold, slate, and ceramic, each tessera is cut, placed, adjusted, and fixed by hand. The surface records these decisions, allowing the process itself to remain visible.
Wings appear frequently in my compositions, carrying associations of movement, comfort, protection, transformation, and spirit.
At the center of my practice is a tension between two forces: passion and precision. Passion draws me toward an idea, a color, or a form that insists on being followed. Precision sustains the work through patience, care, and discipline. Together they shape a practice that unfolds gradually, allowing the image to emerge slowly, piece by piece, through patience, devotion, and the quiet joy of creating.
